Summary

Identium NFC is a tool for reading, writing and managing NFC tags. It is published by Identium Tech Solutions Pvt Ltd ("we", "us"). The app does not collect, transmit, sell or share any personal data. It has no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and makes no network connections. Everything you create or scan stays on your device.

Information we collect

None that leaves your device. The app does not gather personal information, device identifiers, location, contacts, or usage analytics, and it does not send anything to us or any third party.

Data stored locally on your device

To make the app useful, the following is saved in the app's private storage on your phone only. It never leaves the device unless you explicitly export or share it:

You can clear all of this any time from Settings → Clear history / managing templates and identities, or by clearing the app's storage in Android settings. Uninstalling the app removes it entirely.

Permissions and why they're used

• NFC — to read and write NFC tags. This is the core function of the app.
• Vibrate — a short haptic buzz to confirm a successful write.
• Storage (Android 9 and older only) — used solely to save a QR-code image to your gallery when you tap "Save to gallery". On Android 10+ no storage permission is requested.

The app does not request internet, location, camera, contacts, phone, or SMS permissions.

Network and internet

The app makes no network requests and requires no internet connection to function. If you choose to write a website/URL to a tag, or open a verification URL you scanned, your phone's browser opens that link — that browsing is governed by the website's own policy, not ours.

Third parties

No third-party SDKs, trackers, advertising networks, or analytics services are embedded in the app.

Children

The app contains no objectionable content and does not collect data, so it is safe for users of all ages.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new effective date.
